Ok, here’s the post you’ve been waiting for, its all gone to hell! Well hopefully not, but it always feels like that when you’re in the middle of it. Having overcome major head wrecks at the weekend to technically figure out how to manage our projections, other problems reared their ugly little heads. We did our first run in the space last night and the live and recorded sound is terrible. We had help yesterday in setting up a sound system that won’t work, so now we have to start again from scratch. Equipment and stations for our show managers to operate from need to be completely changed, and sight lines are not up to scratch for our audience, so I am determined we need to have our 3rd row elevated. This means accessing 30 tall backed barstools, anyone help!?? In addition seeing it without the lighting and projections in place wasn’t massively helpful. Also the breadth of the stage area is so wide, we may need to put the cast on rollerblades so they can get around. Right off we go to fix it all…..
