Phew!

We’ve reached the end of our long run through Power Point at the Absolut Fringe and Cool Fresh Milk at the Darklight Festival.  We are in what we call ‘down time’ now. Its not a relaxing, but its not as busy.  Now is the time for us to tidy up and make sure everything is ship-shape after the madness and before the next project.

Here at The Performance Corporation we like to start with a thorough tidying.  The office was full of files, boxes, equipment, costumes and everything you can imagine.  Yesterday we cleared it all out and rearranged our desks into a new configuration now for the first time in 2 years.

I’m not facing the wall any more, which is nice.  I can see out the windows now.  I have the responsibility of the imac computer now, which is the company’s server. But its nice to finally have access to an apple computer for work.

The room next door looks like a bomb hit it, but we’re tackling that day by day.  It feels fresh and professional in the office again and I was actually rushing to work today in the excitement for sitting at my new desk.
